Testing Laboratory: Our state-of-the-art, AASHTO certified testing laboratory is approved for third party verification testing. Tests are performed in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, EPA, OSHA, and military test procedures. We are among the few labs in Ohio utilizing the innovative Concrete Maturity Monitoring System, a method of discerning early strengths of concrete placements based on the relationship between temperature and time, in cast specimens. Barr & Prevost was even invited by the ODOT Office of Materials Management to participate in a statewide “Round Robin” Concrete Testing Program.

Wherever possible, computer networking has been utilized to automatically collect and record data from materials testing. This helps to reduce human errors and ensures the highest number of data collection points possible. Our on-line Secure Client Virtual Monitoring System is designed to allow clients to receive up-to-the-minute information, including the results of ongoing materials tests, simply by logging on to our website with a protected password.
